Joe and Melissa Goodwin are both Southern Utah natives with grandparents to thank for finding this wonderful place to live.

Joe started building shutters in a tiny corner of a wood shop. His attention to detail, eye for design, personable manner and leadership helped the business to grow out of that beginning to what it is today with shutters in homes as far away as Florida and Washington State. If you have a window that has you stumped, Joe will be able to help you find a solution. He has seen just about everything and will give you honest feedback about your options.

Joe’s hobbies include Parcheesi with his two daughters and mountain biking in beautiful and varied Southern Utah

Melissa’s interest began with the numbers. She did the bookkeeping and handled scheduling. Her role grew with the business and now she manages the showroom, scheduling, and claims that one of her favorite days is the one where she’s working with the numbers. Her voice is the one you find most often when you call in.

Melissa’s hobbies include gardening, hiking with the family and riding her ElliptiGo.

Kevin has been with Sunburst Shutters since it was in that tiny back corner. He has a knack with tools and wood and has built every type of shutter including arches and French Door Cut-outs and even built Expo Displays to use at Trade Shows. As our lead installer, Kevin is the one you will most likely see when your blinds, shades or shutters are installed.

Kevin enjoys hunting, working on cars and being a Webelos Cub Scout Leader…mostly.
